Director of Product Strategy for Edge Control

Your Role:
- Oversee the global strategic planning, development, and ongoing management of the Edge Control product line, which includes edge devices, control platforms, motion control systems, and related applications within the Electric Automation division throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and foster the growth of a dedicated team comprising product managers and product owners, while also managing the associated technical resources.
- Make key decisions regarding the product strategy for the Edge Control portfolio and execute the global product roadmap in alignment with the overarching goals of the Business Unit.
- Drive the expansion and market growth of the Edge Control sector, focusing on sales performance, revenue generation, and profit margins.
- Contribute to achieving quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets related to the manufacturing, quality assurance, and delivery capabilities of Edge Control products.
- Act as the primary liaison for sales and technical teams concerning Edge Control matters.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed a degree in a technical field such as electronics, electrical engineering, or technical informatics, or a related discipline.
- Possess extensive market knowledge and several years of experience in control technology and servo drive technology within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Demonstrated experience in both technical and personnel management of teams.
- Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit a high level of self-motivation and persuasive abilities.
- Possess analytical and conceptual skills, along with a comprehensive, entrepreneurial mindset and market-driven approach.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across all levels of a complex organization, with a focus on empathy, conflict resolution, and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel, approximately 40% of the time.
