Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Application Security Engineer to strengthen and support our Agile team. This position is responsible for designing and developing new security solutions for various TeamViewer products.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain technical solutions to address incident response rate, extension of security features, and vulnerability disclosures of TeamViewer products.
- Ensure that our software is secure and runs efficiently on many different systems.
- Participate in periodic secure coding training sessions with local developers.
- Work together with other development teams to improve existing security concepts.
Requirements
- A university degree in computer science or equivalent working experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, specifically focused on security issues.
- Understanding of scalable distributed systems and different cryptography concepts.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies to follow the products technology stack.
- Passion for secure, innovative, and user-friendly solutions for highly complex problems.
- Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: Software security and vulnerabilities assessment, Web Architectures, or Programming languages such as C#, Java, or WebAssembly.
- Good knowledge of C++ and Rust is a plus.
- Experience with security protocols (TLS, SSL) would be preferable.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus.
