Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen and support our Agile team at TeamViewer. This position is responsible for designing and developing new security solutions for various TeamViewer products.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain technical solutions to address incident response rate, extension of security features, and vulnerability disclosures of TeamViewer products.
• Ensure that our software is secure and runs efficiently on many different systems.
• Participate in periodic secure coding training sessions with local developers.
• Work together with other development teams to improve existing security concepts.

Requirements

• A university degree in computer science or equivalent working experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, specifically focused on security issues.
• Understanding of scalable distributed systems and different cryptography concepts.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies to follow the products technology stack.
• Passion for secure, innovative, and user-friendly solutions for highly complex problems.
• Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: Software security and vulnerabilities assessment, Web Architectures, or Programming languages such as C#, Java, or WebAssembly.
• Good knowledge of C++ and Rust is a plus.
• Experience with security protocols (TLS, SSL) would be preferable.
