Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Implementation Engineer to join our team at Olympus. As a Technical Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our software into hospitals, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project implementation of Olympus software into hospitals
- Act as primary point of contact for customers post-sales
- Create project timelines using department-wide templates, customizing as needed
- Organize customer and internal documentation
- Assist customers in project discovery phase, gathering technical requirements and limitations
- Organize resources for all contributing parties
- Conduct weekly project status meetings and ensure detailed meeting notes are captured and shared
- Work with Hospital IT and Olympus resources to schedule and complete installations
- Ensure customers are trained properly and fully leading up to project GO LIVE
- Transition projects over to support team seamlessly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, project management, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in software implementations
- Project Management background, including contract understanding, project schedule creation, meeting leadership, and meticulous note taking
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong leadership skills
- High degree of organization and management skills
- Ability to interact with sales, service, support, and all levels of leadership globally
- Demonstrated ability to work well in demanding environments
- Fluent in English and German
- Travel up to 50% of the time
