As part of our expansion, Vista is enhancing its Part 145 network, with all facilities undergoing rebranding to 'Vista Aircraft Maintenance'. Our operations include Base Maintenance facilities in various strategic locations, complemented by additional Line Stations and Mobile Repair Teams.
We are currently seeking skilled Sheet Metal Workers to enhance our operations in Munich.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist line managers by executing aircraft structural repair tasks according to the provided repair data;
- Perform installation, repair, inspection, and replacement of sheet metal components;
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of structural repairs;
- Adhere to aviation safety regulations while utilizing various sheet metal tools;
- Complete all necessary repair documentation accurately and promptly;
- Foster a Just Culture, comply with company Health & Safety policies, and report incidents through the Company Safety Management System;
- Maintain detailed records of work performed on aircraft;
- Ensure proper storage, calibration, labeling, and recording of all calibrated equipment and tools;
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of shop floors to meet company standards.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Completion of a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training, or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship;
- At least 3 years of experience in sheet metal work on operational aircraft;
- Fundamental understanding of EASA/CAA and HSE regulations;
- Basic IT proficiency;
- Ability to work independently and propose improvements as necessary;
- Eligibility to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restrictions;
- Proficient command of the English language, both written and verbal;
- Must qualify for an airside pass;
- Highly motivated team player with strong attention to detail.
