Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician

Job Profile
XO is the leading provider of aircraft maintenance services, with a fleet of over 300 aircraft across the globe. Our state-of-the-art maintenance facilities are strategically located to provide seamless service to our clients worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
- Support line managers in performing aircraft structural repair tasks in line with the aircraft repair data provided;
- Install, repair, inspect, and replace sheet metal components;
- Ensure the safe, on-time delivery of structural repairs;
- Ensure all repairs meet aviation safety guidelines and safely operate various sheet metal tools;
- Complete relevant repair documentation accurately and in a timely manner;
- Promote a Just Culture, adhere to company Health & Safety policies, and report all incidents and occurrences through the Company Safety Management System;
- Provide detailed documentation of the work carried out on aircraft;
- Ensure all calibrated equipment and tooling is correctly stored, calibrated, labelled, and recorded;
- Maintain company standards in general housekeeping of shopfloors.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training, or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship;
- Minimum of 3 years sheet metal work experience on live aircraft;
- Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA, HSE legislation;
- Basic IT knowledge;
- Ability to work under own initiative making recommendations for improvements as appropriate;
- Eligibility to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restriction;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Eligibility for an airside pass;
- Highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
