Position Overview:
As a Product Development Manager for the 'New HRAM Technology' within the Life Science Mass Spectrometry division, you will have a pivotal role in influencing the trajectory of our esteemed product lineup. Your primary focus will be on managing product revenue and fostering profitable growth, thereby contributing significantly to our organizational success. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Research & Development and Vertical Marketing, you will devise and execute product strategies that align with customer requirements and stimulate demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather customer feedback and competitive intelligence to identify product development opportunities.
  • Determine product features and create compelling value propositions, validating them with customers prior to launch.
  • Lead the new product development and introduction process (NPDI), ensuring effective launch and market entry.
  • Present technical information to the sales team and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to phase-out.
  • Establish global market segmentation and positioning strategies for the product range.
  • Develop financial models and conduct analyses to manage the profit and loss for the product line.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • A master's degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Physics, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution is essential. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Advanced degrees in business, science, or marketing are advantageous.
Experience:
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the life sciences sector, particularly in mass-spectrometry based proteomics and/or analytical instruments.
  • Prior experience in product management is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in requirement engineering is beneficial.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional project management capabilities to effectively implement product strategies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams globally.
