Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Sono Motors GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing financial insights to support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
- Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support audits and collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
- Prepare VAT returns and tax returns, working closely with tax consultants
- Contribute to the development of accounting processes and structures, identifying areas for improvement
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, including HGB and IFRS
- Knowledge of VAT returns and other tax topics
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting systems
