Senior Accounting Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at RLG DACH. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 employees and driving the development of our accounting processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of accounting tasks.
- Analyze and optimize accounting processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all financial reporting and compliance requirements are met, including tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of sales tax returns and other tax-related documents.
- Serve as a liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders, providing financial information and support as needed.
Your Profile:
- Hold a degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within an accounting or finance department, with a proven track record of success.
- Be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Business Central/Navision.
- Be fluent in German and English, with excellent language skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
