Director of Global Oncology Pricing, Reimbursement & Access (m/f/x)

Position Overview:

The Director of Global Oncology Pricing & Access will be responsible for formulating and implementing market access and pricing strategies for oncology assets. This individual will oversee the pricing and access strategy for designated oncology products, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Pricing & Access. The role requires providing strategic and technical expertise to ensure the asset's success.
The individual will spearhead the development of global pricing strategies, access initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to create innovative access solutions. Establishing robust working relationships with Regional and Local Access leads, alliance partners, and collaborating with global functions such as Commercial, Marketing, Medical, and Clinical Development is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Market Access & Strategy: Lead the formulation of pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies while working cross-functionally and regionally. Develop initial pricing assumptions and reimbursement strategy recommendations. Collaborate with key countries and regions to draft and establish pricing guidance, including designing a global launch sequence plan. Provide pricing insights for key planning processes related to brand strategy and portfolio reviews. Contribute to clinical trial design, endpoints, and comparators to support optimal pricing, access, and reimbursement. Enhance information exchange and best practice sharing across regions; drive the adoption of pricing tools and resources. Monitor the rapidly evolving competitive landscape and ensure insights are integrated into the PRA strategy. Evidence Generation & Synthesis: Collaborate across functions to gather comprehensive information on target indications, including epidemiology, disease burden, unmet needs, and treatment pathways. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the evolving pricing, reimbursement, and access landscape in key global markets. Conduct pricing and payer market research in collaboration with relevant markets and regions. Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Regional and Global stakeholders to provide innovative PRA approaches. Collaborate with Clinical (R&D) to ensure that payer and KOL reimbursement requirements for key markets are incorporated into clinical trial and evidence generation plans. Act as an ambassador to promote the access agenda with key stakeholders.

Education & Professional Experience:

Master’s Degree in economics, health policy, health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical companies, payer/HTA, physician associations, or relevant consultancy firms in a multinational context. At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in developing global pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies. Experience in oncology, particularly with multi-indication compounds and early-stage products. Strong understanding of the clinical development and lifecycle of oncology medications. Comprehensive knowledge of major markets and their PRA and HTA policies, both in private and government settings. Experience collaborating with early asset teams, clinical development, and forecasting teams. Familiarity with pricing and reimbursement frameworks in various global regions. Proficient in pricing market research tools, methodologies, and analytics. Solid understanding of HEOR and RWE concepts.
