Lighting and Media Systems Specialist

Position Overview
At ST. ROBO GmbH, the role of a Technical Artist / Operator is pivotal in orchestrating the planning, configuration, and operation of lighting and media systems for diverse events and performances. This position demands close collaboration with both creative and technical teams to guarantee the smooth integration and impeccable execution of setups. A background in touring and live entertainment is crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and program advanced lighting systems utilizing Grand MA 2 & 3 consoles.
  • Manage and configure media servers with Disguise software.
  • Coordinate and implement lighting and media setups for touring and live entertainment events.
  • Design and draft technical schematics using Vectorworks.
  • Collaborate with team members to create visual concepts and technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain diagrams and workflows through Lucid Chart.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during events.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members in both German and English.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Light and Media Server Operator / Technical Artist.
  • Proficient in Vectorworks, Lucid Chart, Grand MA 2 & 3, and Disguise.
  • Extensive background in touring and live entertainment productions.
  • Strong technical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
  • Possession of a valid Class B driver's license.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • A passion for live entertainment and touring productions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
