Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Lead to join our team in Offenbach, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical teams, providing expertise in development, integration, and SAP BASIS, and contributing to the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA in all GKN Automotive plants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA and external systems, using SAP BTP.
  2. Lead SAP BASIS administration activities, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  3. Provide technical leadership to the development team, guiding and mentoring developers in SAP technologies.
  4. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  5. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA security policies and access controls.
  6. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design and implement robust SAP S/4HANA infrastructure solutions.
  7. Provide technical leadership to the Integration/EDI team, ensuring seamless communication between trading partners and internal systems.
  8. Define the coding standards and best practices for custom build.
Requirements
  1. Played a role of Technical Team Lead in 6-7 SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation projects, preferably in multiple locations/regions.
  2. Knowledge of SAP technical roadmap, Private Cloud, and best practices for security, compliance, and performance optimizations.
  3. Experience with middleware technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI, API management, Open Connectors).
  4. Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP Native ABAP, Java, and S/4HANA.
  5. Leading onsite and offshore HANA team from multiple locations.
  6. Understanding the business scenarios for all modules from SAP perspective to meet business-specific processes.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  8. SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant areas is preferred.
Education and Language Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Good English language - both verbal and written.
