Area of Responsibility

As a student assistant (f/m/d) in IT Engineering, you will play a vital role in supporting the Application Operations team within the Corporate IT division. Your tasks will encompass daily user assistance and involvement in innovative automation initiatives, including scripting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will enhance internal reporting processes and contribute to their automation. Additionally, you will assist the team in resolving 2nd level incidents.
  • You will aid in the design and execution of new processes and workflows across various tools and environments, such as the document management system Alfresco.
  • You will provide support to the primary colleagues responsible for our documentation management system Alfresco.
  • You will gain valuable insights into our Jira ticketing system and Confluence, our knowledge-sharing platform.
  • Moreover, you will assist the team in establishing an automated recertification process for roles assigned within our Alfresco system and gain exposure to additional applications supported by our team.

Candidate Profile:

  • You must be enrolled at a recognized university throughout your engagement and have completed a minimum of 2 semesters in a relevant field (e.g., informatics) or hold a Bachelor’s degree while pursuing a Master’s degree.
  • Ideally, you have acquired initial practical experience in scripting, system administration, or web services through internships or previous employment.
  • You possess a keen interest in IT and operations, aiming to deliver exceptional services to internal stakeholders.
  • You are proactive in your learning approach and demonstrate high self-motivation.
  • With an average commitment of 19 hours per week, you are prepared to visit the office at least once a week, embracing a hybrid working model.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar demand management tools is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
