Student Assistant in Financial Crime Prevention, (IT-)Forensic & eDiscovery (m/f/d)

As a Student Assistant (m/f/d) in Financial Crime Prevention, (IT-)Forensic & eDiscovery, you will be closely involved in the dynamic environment of our operations, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios. You will engage in challenging tasks ranging from the design and implementation of data protection measures to the prevention, detection, and investigation of economic crimes, thereby broadening and deepening your knowledge base.

Your Responsibilities
If you are interested in the prevention and investigation of economic crime and are passionate about data protection and security within organizations, consider this opportunity to contribute 8 - 19.5 hours per week, and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks:

  • Assist in internal investigations and the prevention and detection of economic crime and other misconduct.
  • If you have a passion for IT, analyze IT systems for digital traces and artifacts, helping to clarify the digital crime scene.
  • Support your team in implementing a data protection management system and in the investigation and resolution of data protection violations.
  • Help our clients align their processes, measures, and systems to prevent money laundering, financing of terrorism, and sanctions violations.
  • Collaborate with eDiscovery experts to assist in the technical handling of the entire EDRM, from IT forensic digital data preservation to processing and production of data.
  • In interdisciplinary teams, further support the digitalization of prevention and investigation measures.
Your Profile
  • You will undertake your role as a Student Assistant (m/f/d) in Financial Crime Prevention, (IT-)Forensic & eDiscovery with at least three completed semesters in a degree program in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, IT forensics, law, or social sciences.
  • Ideally, you have focused on one of the following areas in your studies: economic criminal law, money laundering prevention, data protection, IT forensics, risk management, or similar subjects.
  • You bring relevant work experience from previous internships.
  • Additionally, you have an interest in finance-related processes and systems.
  • You possess excellent German and English language skills.
