About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diploma Student to join our team at SAP as a Cloud Software Engineering Intern. This is a unique opportunity to work on a master thesis project that focuses on enhancing the development experience and productivity for all development teams at SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and compare existing models to define, measure, and predict development productivity.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of development productivity in the software industry, including enterprise software companies' approaches, priorities, focus areas, and investment topics.
- Analyze the DORA model as an industry-leading approach to software delivery performance, including industry benchmarking and correlation between software delivery performance and business performance.
- Investigate governance models to drive improvements for software delivery performance, including enforcement, coaching/enablement, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences.
- Preferred fields of study: software engineering.
- Computer skills: profound cloud software engineering skills, including continuous delivery approach leveraging state-of-the-art technologies.
- Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus.
- Soft skills: self-organized, team player, goal-oriented.
- Others: experience with software engineering for business purposes is a plus.
