Tasks

THIS IS THE JOB

As Key Account Manager Retail Austria (human) your main tasks will be:

  • You lead impactful listing discussions, annual negotiations, create compelling promotion agreements, and negotiate with key stakeholders to secure and enhance our market presence in Austria (and potential other eastern markets).
  • You collaborate with our Head of Sales to formulate and execute strategies that drive profitable sales growth, positioning our products for success in the competitive FMCG market in Austria.
  • You develop comprehensive account plans always aligning with budgetary goals.
  • You build relationships with decision-makers within your customer portfolio, establishing yourself as a trusted partner in their business success.
  • You show a hands-on approach by meeting customers at their headquarters / markets and making a significant impact at industry trade fairs.
  • You run analysis to generate insights for us and our customers and derive recommendations for action.

If you also have a very proactive and hands-on approach to work, enjoy collaborating with other people and have an all-around positive mindset towards challenges, then we kind of have a crush on you.

If you additionally have the following skills and experience, then we really think this could be the beginning of a great love story.

  • You already have 3-5 years of professional experience as a key account manager in Austrian food retail and love to sell and negotiate.
  • You have a good network in the food retail / drugstore industry and a good knowledge of the retail landscape.
  • You roll up your sleeves and push things forward, problems and obstacles do not keep you from your goals.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You can get diverse people excited about your mission and build strong connections with them.
  • You live our values and act in an entrepreneurial way, like to create and are fully behind our mission.
  • You are open to travel to customers.
  • You have excellent German or Austrian language skills (at least C1 level).
  • You have a very good command of English (at least B2 level).
