Please apple in english For an international Ingredients Distributor we are looking for the Business Unit Manager Food Ingredients Distrubution selling Food ingredients in DACH is your business you are in charge of a team of a Team of 15: Technical Sales Managers, Customer Service representatives, Acountants etc. Products are value-added products from well-known suppliers office based and home office based Must have for this positon is: Team Leading experience Master's Degree in Food Technology or similar Ability to solve technological problems and the passion for developing food products Deep knowledge of value added food Ingredients You will apply with a CV and Cover letter Fluent in Germany and Englich Please apply in English long term selling experience with Food Ingredients Tasks Develop commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients Analyze the market and product range of our suppliers to find new potentials Create strong relationships with our suppliers and customers Visit customers, analyze their needs, create a value proposition Attend production trials at customers / make small-scale trials in the application kitchen project management in close cooperation with a dedicated Customer Service Manager Align sales strategy for suppliers’ product groups under the supervision of Product managers and Country managers Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Germany Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year. Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutions Conduct lab, small-scale or industrial trials with customers Follow up offers, payments, … Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts … Requirements Degree in Food Technology Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills, high willingness to travel very organized, reliable, positive thinking Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have you have a valid driving license Must have Benefits Working in an international team with lean structures Close cooperation with market-leading, innovative suppliers with excellent products Regular product and application training in our lab an attractive remuneration package that corresponds to your experience and qualifications.
