Operative Procurement Specialist

**Your mission**:
As we expand our operations, we are looking for a motivated and experienced **Operative Procurement (Specialist) (all genders) **to join our dynamic team. The Operative Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient procurement operations within the renewable energy sector, especially in EPC business. This position is responsible for managing the full operational procurement process, from issuing orders and tracking deliveries to managing payment processes and handling claims. The specialist will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain operational efficiency and uphold compliance with industry standards.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**_Procurement Process Management:_**
- Efficiently issue purchase orders based on operational needs and approved requisitions.
- Implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve delivery schedules.

**_ Order Issuance:_**
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to selected suppliers, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, and terms.
- Review and confirm supplier acknowledgments and manage any discrepancies.

**_ Delivery Tracking:_**
- Monitor and track the progress of orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Proactively communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and address potential delays.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to manage the receipt of goods and services.

**_ Payment and Claim Management:_**
- Process payment requests for received goods and services, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and contracts.
- Manage the claims process for any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate payments, adhering to established payment terms.

**_ Supplier Relationship Management:_**
- Maintain effective communication and rapport with suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve issues quickly.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain records of supplier engagements.

**_ Compliance and Documentation:_**
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supporting documentation.

**_ Collaboration and Support:_**
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and finance, to support procurement needs effectively.
- Provide insights and support in the planning and forecasting of procurement requirements.

**Your profile**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the renewable energy industry as an added value.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, order management, and payment systems.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Hands-on character with a proactive approach to problem solving and operational tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in managing supplier claims and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
