**Your area of work**
The section Derivatives Clearing Design identifies and develops clearing services for listed and OTC derivatives in close alignment with our clearing members. During the design process we further interact with all relevant internal departments and ensure regulatory compliance of the service.
Additionally, Derivatives Clearing Design is further the responsible business owners for ECAG’s regulatory transaction reporting obligation.
In our roles we represent ECAG in industry forums and working groups, which are relevant for our tasks.

The OTC Clearing Unit within Derivatives Clearing Design is responsible for the functional design of post-trade transaction processing and harmonized clearing services for OTC Interest Rate and OTC NDF derivatives.
Our focus is to offer innovative clearing solutions to our customers and connected trading venues.

**Your responsibilities**
- Lead a team of highly motivated colleagues focused on the development and maintenance of harmonized post-trade services for OTC derivatives
- Establish and maintain relevant control framework for the unit in line with legal and regulatory requirements of ECAG
- Maintain and create trustful relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate OTC clearing design related initiatives and ensure targets are achieved in due time
- Preparation and documentation of management decisions

**Your profile**
- University degree with an emphasis in finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years professional experience in the field of financial markets, ideally with background in clearing of OTC derivatives
- Experience in leading a team and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders is an advantage
- Strong analytical and communication skills combined with result orientation, commitment, a high degree of organizational self-reliance, motivation, and creativity
- Competent handling of MS Office
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is an advantage
