Reporting into Germany General Manager, the Germany Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing all marketing activities improving the overall success of Rapha through building the Rapha brand and business across Germany, including our Clubhouses in Berlin & Munich.

This includes raising brand awareness and driving new customers acquisition leveraging local marketing tactics, supporting our Clubhouses from a traffic, sales and experience standpoint, but also building value into the Rapha Cycling Club membership/experience and contributing to the financial success of the web and wholesale channels.

The Germany Marketing Coordinator will be a representative of the brand to industry partners, and the press. A positive force for the brand, this person will play a creative and analytical role within our German operations by being up-to-date with the latest trends and market insights and needs to excel in understanding the customer and delivering the best Rapha experience possible.

**The Role**
- Responsible for delivering a holistic marketing and new customer acquisition strategy.
- Design and execute, a localized, sales and marketing plan and strategy in line with Rapha’s broader objectives, targets and budgets incl. annual calendar to reflect key product and seasonal trends in the business.
- Lead development & strategy of the RCC and annual local RCC calendar (rides & events) together with our Community coordinators
- Develop and execute the Germany marketing activation plan (events, PR, socials & communications ) working closely with Germany General Manager.
- Project management of events & campaigns within the market.
- Drive local comms plan (incl. managing content/creative development process, partnering with London-based HQ team)
- Identify and utilise local ambassadors and drive local partnerships.
- Build relationships and deliver structured communication with Press and other Influencers.
- Overseeing Local Social Channels
- Analyse local customer and business metrics to support local strategies and plans, and seek continuous improvement
- Manage and maintain annual local activation budget
- An approx. 3-5yrs experience marketing and/or commercial manager with a collaborative, inclusive approach
- Loves and appreciate the sport of road racing/cycling
- Physical retail marketing experience is a plus (premium retail or traffic-driving marketing experience)
- Proactive, dynamic interpersonal style
- An ability to operate effectively at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders
- A proven track record of delivering results and the drive to exceed expectations.
- Good business acumen
- Highly organised. Loves to plan, build and manage project and production timelines and budget
- Resourceful, but knows when to ask for help
- Possesses courage under fire
- Creative
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of German in speaking and writing
- Can be the face of the Rapha brand, projecting the values of the brand in all interactions
- Over-delivers, finding ways to create special moments that can be “only Rapha”
- Comfortable with working non-office hours i.e. weekends and evenings. This could be 20% of the time during peak event season.
