**_ Could you be the Buyer (f/m/d) in Siegen we're looking for?_**

**Your future role**

In charge of a commodity for the Site Siegen, as a Buyer you will be the key interface between Suppliers, internal Functions and Projects.

The role covers the full scope of Procurement activity from the development of strategies locally to the first delivery and management of contracts.

Day-to-day you'll work closely with teams across the business like: Supplier Quality Assurance, Engineering, Project Managers, Project Procurement Managers, Material Planners, Logistics, etc) and you will take full ownership of the supplier relationship for the contracts they manage.

**We’ll look to you for**:

- Manage your commodity from the bids phase to the first delivery
- Work with internal stakeholders to define requirements in order to send out detailed RFQ
- Ensure all selected suppliers are compliant to service level agreements
- Establish and manage contractual framework
- Supplier evaluation and assessment
- Report and immediately respond to unforeseen supply failures

- Completed commercial or technical training with experience in purchasing.
- Relevant experience in a previous role, within the manufacturing industry
- English and German language required. Other languages are a plus.
- Capable of leading negotiations for high value contracts
- Strong knowledge of the key aspects of the RFI/RFQ sourcing process
- Ability to understand value streams, cost drivers and how to break down cost structures
- Ability to understand and develop legal contracts
- Results driven, self
- starter, problem solver with proven ability to drive projects to a successful conclusion
- Team oriented and excellent communication skills are essential
- Flexibility to travel on short notice
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products with an emphasis on Excel.
- SAP experiences desirable
- Driver licens
