Could you be the full-time **Head of Project Controlling (f/m/d)** in **Siegen - DE** we’re looking for?
**Your future role**
- Site Controller in** Siegen**, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
You'll supervise, analyse and provide support for overall finance topics of the project portfolio and ensure compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, adding insight and accuracy to project financial information (improve accuracy on forecasts, revenue, cash, cost, etc.). You will control the financial performance of the project portfolio and propose action plans to improve contract margin and cash profile as well as corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.
You’ll specifically supervise the Project Controller team, but also participate in overall Project Management process jointly with the Project Manager.
We’ll look to you for:
- Business Partnering:
- provide finance advise and tutoring to the project team
- set up technical expertise within the real and current concerns of the business to create value
- enrich integration within the organization (functional intermediation)
- ensure compliance of finance rules in project review preparation and throughout project execution
- contribute on business agility and awareness
- Raise "Early Warnings" when necessary to increase management attention
- Challenge and approve Project Financials (cash, competitiveness) as per DoA
- Provide confirmation of Internal Transfer Pricing policies to procurement for the issuance of internal purchase orders
- Control the interflows of Internal purchased orders
- Liaise with other finance expert functions (e.g. Tax and Customs, Treasury and Financing, Internal Audit & Risk Management, Accounting and Finance efficiency, etc.)
- Cooperate with other expert functions e.g. legal, platforms, Operational Excellence, etc.
- Support PMs in risks and opportunities process and sign-off contingencies/committed savings
- Partner with PM and CM in Contract & Claim Management (focus on finance topics & risks profile)
- For partnership (consortium or JV), ensure follow up of the financial aspects in compliance with the partner agreements and alert in case of any deviation or risk profile for Alstom
- Know and understand businesses portfolio and the operation of every business function

- Completed degree in business administration (applied sciences) or comparable
- 3 years relevant experience in project controlling within an international industrial company
- Strong affinity for numbers
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with SAP

- Fluent in speaking and writing English & German
