**Senior Regulatory Affairs** Specialist (M/F/d)**

for our **EU Product Sustainability Compliance Team***

based in **Monheim am Rhein**

**Your Responsibilities**
- Monitor, influence, and implement product sustainability regulations to ensure continued compliance (Focus: Ecodesign for Sustainable Products regulation, Green Claims Directive, Packaging and Packaging waste Regulation and Safe and Sustainable by Design)
- Develop strategies for compliance and/or risk reduction
- Communicate and present at multiple levels on product sustainability compliance. Provide regulatory insights to business divisions on new regulation and impact on their customers
- Partner with business to enable growth with compliance to sustainability regulations
- Take line manager responsibility for one employee
- Identify and evaluate technical solutions for product sustainability regulations
- Work with RD&E and Supply Chain to assess the impact on the product portfolio and contribute to innovation
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-divisional project teams
- Work with outside consultant to follow and support implementation of legislative changes
- Represent Ecolab at trade associations and liaise with authorities about tasks related to regulatory product sustainability regulations

**Your Profile**
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Sustainability or Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or Environmental Science
- 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs positions
- Experience in sustainability, environmental footprint, packaging design, and eco-design principles
- Experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and software tools is of advantage
- Good problem-solving skills, ability to communicate and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complexity
- Interest and experience in Driving vision and purpose, innovation and customer value
- Fluent English with good written and verbal communication skills
- Able and willing to travel
