Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator

**Duties**:
Incumbent compiles list of annual events and programs to seek commercial sponsorship; solicits, negotiates sponsorship from local, regional, national and international sponsors; coordinates with the installation's Staff Judge Advocate to ensure terms of each sponsorship agreement follows all regulations and policies. Incumbent also develops pricing and rate structure for paid advertising in Services publications, point of sale, venues and collateral materials to other facilities. Negotiates terms of advertising agreement and executes all supporting documents. Performs other related duties as assigned.

- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

**Qualifications**:

- The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and legal US residents in Germany. Recruitment limited only to the local commuting area of Spangdahlem. Legal U.S. residents must possess a social security number or green card and must be:
- A US citizen, or
- A citizen of NATO country, other than the host country (Germany), and married to an active duty U.S. military member.

- **Qualifying Experience**:
Must have experience with administrative, professional, technical or other work which has provided a general knowledge of marketing/commercial sponsorship principles and practices. Additionally, must have specialized experience gained in a commercial marketing or advertising agency. Specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to plan and implement programs without benefit of established criteria; compose written material and conduct presentations; solicit and negotiate sponsorship agreements; and develop advertising copy.

**Education**:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.

**Additional information**:

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
- Probationary period may be required.
