Director Global Quality and Regulatory Strategy

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and executing Quality and Regulatory key large scale infrastructure and system integration initiatives that support the Quality ManagementSystem (QMS) of Olympus Globally
- Manage direct team to execute projects and deliverables
- Build team ownership and commitment to project and business plans and defines project milestones and resource requirements
- Set prioritization of team member activities and follow up on actions
- Actively seeks collaboration and builds relationships with internal customers and external partners to improve overall outcomes and timely project completion and collaborates with business users, internal technology teams across Olympus and vendors to establish and prioritize business and technologyrequirements
- Analyses the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, business processes focusing on the effective use of resources or new systems andenhancements to existing systems from a business and technology perspective to ensure the design or change fits the needs of Olympus
- Proactively identify and assess areas of risk, escalate issues in a timely manner and proactively propose solutions. Implement and manage projectchanges and interventions to achieve timely project outputs
- Provide regular project updates (written and verbal) to appropriate management and Olympus governing boards
- Serves on PMO and Project Steering Committees
- Manages cross-functional project teams providing direction and guidance as well as coaching and mentoring as needed
- Owner of project planning and management responsibilities for all assigned projects, including development of a project charter, project plan, schedule
- Develops and manages budgets for the project including resource loading, external expenses and capital requirements. Develop a team culture ofcontinuous improvement and teamwork that strives to improve in quality, safety, delivery and cost Other Essential Duties as directed
- Oversight of any external consultants and project Managers in the Quality and Regulatory organization
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, along with the Global Operational performance team to harmonize best practices to improve globalteam

Your qualification
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA or proven business experience with exposure and responsibility for financial and business case review and development
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management experience in the medical device field or any other regulatory controlled industry with theability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with competing priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing and evolving work environment with ademonstrated track record of execution
- Since this is a Global role, the individual will be expected to schedule meetings that work for multiple time zones and well as 40% travel should be expected
- Ability to lead and manage remote, matrixed people in teams in both global and regional environments is highly preferred
- Previous experience leading a medium to large organization and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders is a plus
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary senior leadership members and analyzing, clarifying and translating business requirements into functionaland technical specifications is a plus
- Proven track record of leading and driving business process transformation and organizational culture change as well as delivering on programs withcomplex business deliverables
- Strong technical aptitude; comfortable in working with engineers and other Quality and Regulatory professionals
