Main accountabilities include:

- To attend and refuel aircraft by vehicle Tanker/bowser as directed by the Manager and/or Daily Worksheet.
- Carry out, on request and whenever necessary, the main accountabilities of Aircraft refuellers by operating in accordance with Airport, Health & Safety, HM Customs, Security, and MA ASIG JIG regulations and procedures.
- Reporting any incidents and providing reports as required.
- Conduct safety walks and observations to ensure compliance of assets and operations to Safety and operational standards
- Carrying out other relevant tasks as directed by the manager
- Manage to get defects on all vehicles repaired on site or by maintenance contractors
- Plan preventive maintenance and checks on fuelling equipment
- Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annually vehicles checks and quality controls are completed in a timely manner as set by the manager
- Keeping all Quality Control and maintenance Checks data and folders up to date.
- Report any issue with equipment availability
- Keeping a track on stocks for all spares and liaise with the site manager to replenish stocks.
- Assist with audits/inspections and equipment testing
- Support the manager in supervising fuelling staff

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Demonstrate high levels of awareness in relation to Health, Safety, Security and the Environment
- Valid driving license with LGV C or LGV C+E. (ADR would be an advantage)
- High standard of numeracy and literacy skills required in addition to problem solving skills.
- Good team working skills required with a high degree of flexibility.
- Aircraft re-fuelling experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles knowledge and attitude
- Must have a checkable five-year employment or educational history.
- Excellent leadership, personal and communication skills are essential as is the need to be both adaptable and flexible.
