Our research focuses on molecular mechanisms of synapse formation and neurotransmission. We seek an interested and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate the role of the synaptic organizer molecules neurexins and their defects in mutant mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders. Current projects analyze the crosstalk of neurexins with synaptic Ca2+ channels in vitro and in vivo.
