At Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU/UniBw H), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Professorship for Department of Methodology and Statistics for Psychology (Univ.Prof. Dr. Hecht) a position is available from the next possible date for a Research Associate (M/F/d) (salary group 13 TVöD [Collective agreement for the public service]; 29,25 hours per week) for a limited period of 2 years.

**Responsibilities**:

- Academic service activities such as methodological and statistical consulting
- Assistance in teaching to the extent of basically 2,0 trimester hours per week
- Possibility of further academic qualification (e.g. doctorate or habilitation)
- Carrying out general administrative work as well as academic activities in academic self-administration

**Qualification requirements**:

- A completed university degree [Diplom (univ.) or Master] in psychology, statistics or a related discipline completed with very good results

**Furthermore desired**:

- Knowledge of foreign language in German with a proficiency level that corresponds at least to the language level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- Excellent knowledge of psychological methods, statistics and diagnostics
- Knowledge of statistical software, especially R
- Proactivity, reliability, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Independent and structured way of working, creative problem-solving skills
- Strong mathematical and statistical-analytical skills
