Position/Job Description:
Impact on business results

Support the leadership of the overall Financial Planning, Reporting and Controlling process of the division and prepare relevant financial information/analysis to measure progress (relevant KPI’s) vs Financial Targets and Strategic Plans

This function is critical to ensure that Gardena as a Division will achieve and ideally outperform financial goals from it’s 5 business units: Gardena Watering, Gardena Handtools, Gardena Robotics & Smart, Gardena Electric and Orbit BU.

Essential Duties:
Accountabilities/Responsibilities e.g. People Management, Problem Solving, Communication

Financial Reporting and Planning:
Establish monthly process around planning, reporting and controlling process.
- Prepare and present monthly result to Division President and Division CFO with relevant analysis
- Prepare monthly financial forecast for the full P&L and working capital, and CAPEX based on input received from peers from divisional Finance Leadership team.
- Prepare the monthly Ops Rev. material for the monthly reviews with Group CEO and Group CFO
- Prepare monthly presentation for financial result and forecast for Divisional Management meeting
- Follow up on Strategic KPI’s, PACE, CAPEX spend, SI and CCC. Measure progress versus BUDGET, actions plans etc

Budget process & Strategic Planning

Manage budgeting process and ensure alignment with Divisional CFO in line with Divisions strategic plans
- Prepare and lead timetables towards Group deadlines
- Full accountability of the consolidation of the Financials; P&L, NOWC, CAPEX, Cash Flow etc.
- Ongoing alignment with CFO on progress versus targets
- Prepare relevant material for Divisional Management in alignment with Divisional CFO
- Prepare full budget presentation for review with Group in alignment with Divisional CFO
- Be part of developing the financial part of the Financial Strategic Plan

Collaboration
- Close collaboration with the CFO
- Cross divisional collaboration specifically related to reporting, deadlines, requests etc.

Preferred qualifications:
Education, Experience, Functional & Business knowledge, Specialist Skills
- Diploma / Master degree in business administration.
- Several years of experience in different controllers functions of a business (sales/marketing, operations, supply chain, R&D etc.)
- Experience with all different kind of controlling topics (budget, closing, forecasting, business case building/follow up, working capital optimization)
- Broad knowledge in profit & loss and balance sheet
- Experienced in data retrieve from ERP systems and consolidation software.
- Fluent in English.
