**Who are we?**

Cox Automotive Europe is driving the digital transformation of defleet, remarketing and retail operations for our manufacturer, fleet and dealer customers in continental Europe, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.

As part of Cox Automotive Inc, the world’s largest automotive service organisation, we’re transforming the way the world buys, sells, owns and uses vehicles.

**Main purpose of the job**:
The role will provide strategic product leadership for the product management teams with a focus in shifting the landscape by delivering a broader digitally connected, optimal customer experience across Cox Automotive products and services.

The Cox Automotive portfolio covers complete services across the vehicle lifecycle, serving all customer types from independent dealers to large scale manufacturers across the UK and Europe.

Wholesale spans Inspection Services, Vehicle Services, Auctions, Transport and Funding, working in close connection with our Retail arm. You will work across many of our brands and services to evolve these and connect them into compelling customer propositions.

To maintain leadership in onsite operations and grow in upstream offsite channels, we must address industry trends, increasing digital adoption, and the evolving needs of our customers.
- You will develop a strong understanding of the businesses, people, products and customers to establish an effective product strategy and help to create value for customers through our products and services.
- You will be a long-term thinker, able to work across a large complex business to introduce connected and customer centric propositions.
- Develop tighter alignment and collaboration working across functions within the UK and wider international business.
- Collaborate and communicate across Enterprise teams, Sales and wider business to ensure effective ways of working.
- Coaching and development of the product management team, ensuring clear career pathways aligned to goals and objectives.
- Support the product team through change and transition as we further establish Enterprise services, and generally mature Cox Automotive as a digital business.

**Skills**:

- Exceptional experience developing and bringing to market software products and solutions
- Experienced in complex, large scale organisational change and transformation
- Ability to manage many digital products across multiple brands, ideally with a physical operation
- Clear ability to successfully collaborate with and influence senior executives
- Highly analytical, with a desire to tackle difficult challenges to deliver appropriate solutions
- Proven skills to develop, communicate, and execute innovative and successful product strategies and initiatives
- Proven success in product development, including successful product launches
- Experience developing and managing product pricing strategies
- Strong organisational skills and time-management
- Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with customers, team members, stakeholders at all levels, and across different locations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Follower of product development methodologies, especially Agile, Lean, Directed Discovery and Design Thinking
- Proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment with changing and multiple priorities
- Excellent judgment and discretion
- Experience negotiating commercial contracts
- Experience in automotive, marketing, retail, finance or technology industries preferred
