In our Hub Building & Home Automation Solutions (BHAS), part of Smart Buildings Division, Electrification Business Area, we are looking for the Hub HR Business Partner. This position will also be responsible for Location HR support in our main factory in Lüdenscheid, Germany. Hub BHAS includes factories in Germany, Finland, Czech Republic and Spain. In this role, you will be a senior member of the Hub team and local unit in Lüdenscheid, supporting business goals and initiatives by ensuring people capabilities and organizational effectiveness in close collaboration with HR network. You will counsel and coach business leadership on the organization issues and advise solutions, representing business needs and providing continuous improvement feedback in interface with other HR functions / HR services.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Partnering with the relevant leaders to understand business drivers and vision, current and long-term strategy, and identifying and closing gaps between future strategic objectives and current organizational capabilities and skills.
- Advise, influence, and deliver on all aspects of people management and leadership in line with ABB’s values and processes.
- Functionally manage and coach Hub and local HR team providing day to day support and strategic guidance.
- With excellent business acumen, should develop high performance teams and roll out initiatives to solve business problems that impact organizational effectiveness, including implementation of an agile and innovative organization, productivity improvement, cost reduction or increasing retention and profitability.
- Orchestrate the HR team to define and implement HR priorities in line with business strategy, articulating with wider HR organization to ensure relevant support.
- Representing HR in the wider business, establishing strong relationships with leaders, identifying business needs, defining priorities and providing support and guidance in HR matters.
- Interpreting HR Analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and utilizing findings to define and execute the appropriate actions.
- Live by company’s core values, safety and integrity.

**Your background**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR and/or business roles, in local and global/ regional roles in manufacturing environments.
- Broad generalist HR experience, and excellent knowledge of labor law and labor relations in Germany.
- Strong business acumen and drive for results, with ability to learn business context, strategy, and setting ambitious goals.
- Excellent team building, strategic alignment, leading through influence with cross function collaboration skills
- Culture and change management experience, able to coach and mentor all employee levels.
- Fluent in German and English.
