Der Medical Lead ist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung der medizinischen Produktstrategie in enger Zusammenarbeit mit globalen und lokalen Stakeholdern sämtlicher relevanter Funktionen (u.a. Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Clinical Development) aus dem jeweiligen Therapiegebiet bzw. der Indikation. Diese erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung zu identifizierender wissenschaftlicher Datenlücken als auch ungedeckter Bedürfnisse von Patienten und Lücken in der Versorgungsrealität sowie deren Adressierung durch effektive, nachhaltige und messbare medizinische Aktivitäten.

Hauptaufgaben

Verantwortlich für die Erstellung und Umsetzung der medizinischen Strategie und aller medizinischen Aktivitäten für das Produkt auf lokaler Ebene Führung der Medical Affairs Mitarbeiter im Verantwortungsbereich entlang der von der globalen Patientenambition und -Vision abgeleiteten lokalen Therapie- und Produktstrategie sowie der lokalen Medical-Affairs-Strategie durch kontinuierliche Klarheit/Fokus über die Ergebnisziele und Prioritäten Aktives und regelmäßiges Performance Management, welches eine klare evidenzbasierte Differenzierung von Performance in Bezug zum Zielzustand herbeiführt Umfassende Partnerschaft und Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen und globalen Teams; der Medical Lead ist Mitglied des Global Medical Teams (GMTs) für dieses Produkt und gestaltet als solches maßgeblich die globale Produktstrategie mit. Zudem repräsentiert der Medical Lead die LOC-Perspektive in anderen wichtigen regionalen und globalen Foren (u.a. Integrated Evidence Teams) Sicherstellung der Berücksichtigung deutscher Marktgegebenheiten innerhalb der globalen Produktstrategie und -entwicklung Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern im gesamten internen Ökosystem für die Erstellung der Medical- und Brand-Pläne auf nationaler Ebene, insbesondere enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Kolleg*innen aus Marketing und Vertrieb bei der Erstellung und Exekution der Produktstrategie Nutzung von internen und externen Erfahrungen als Input für das Design klinischer Studien und Weiterentwicklungen des Produktes Vertretung des medizinischen Fachbereichs in lokalen, funktionsübergreifenden Strategiesitzungen und Workshops und proaktive Entwicklung von Optionen für innovative medizinische Strategien

Qualifikationen & Fähigkeiten

Hochschulabschluss in Medizin, Pharmazie oder Naturwissenschaften, bevorzugt mit Promotion Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Pharmazeutischen Industrie, bevorzug im Bereich Medical Affairs mit entsprechender Führungserfahrung Starke Führungskompetenz zwecks Ausrichtung und Priorisierung der Teamaktivitäten Ausgeprägte Problemlösungs- sowie Entscheidungsfähigkeiten mit der Kompetenz mittel- bis langfristige Chancen und Risiken zu antizipieren Verständnis des deutschen Gesundheitswesens sowie der Erstattung von Arzneimitteln / Impfstoffen; Erfahrung mit Market Access Prozessen Erfahrung mit Produktlebenszyklen sowie Produkteinführungen mit anschließender Ableitung von gezielten Portfoliostrategien Verständnis für pharmazeutische Ethik und Governance, pharmazeutische Compliance-Richtlinien und -Verfahren Sprachkenntnisse Deutsch und Englisch (fließend)
