**Environmental Specialist (d/f/m)**:

**Your role**:

- Assess/guide/communicate on the life cycle impacts of Essity’s products, services, technologies, and supply chain in accordance with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards and other associated methodologies - ensuring robust/credible outcomes to inform on strategy, marketing, and communication needs and make recommendations to reduce PLD’s footprint
- Integrate life cycle assessment tools into internal processes
- Partner with functions/business areas to understand sustainability priorities and guide development of methods/tools/assessments to support needs
- Guide customer-facing teams with customer presentations and engagement on sustainability
- Guide Communications/Marketing teams in developing communication materials and environmental product claims related to product sustainability assessment
- Lead building assessment capability through activities such as evaluation and exploration of new methods or contributing to the development of data and systems

**You identify yourself with**:

- Strong analytical skills related to data manipulation and analysis with experience using life cycle assessment software and developing models (eg. SimaPro, GaBi)
- Understanding issues related to the environment, circular economy and eco-design as they relate to products and operations and familiarity with life cycle assessment standards and guidelines (including ISO 14040/14044) and corporate sustainability standards
- Broader expertise on one or more key topics (e.g., bio-based materials, circular economy, biodiversity, fibers, packaging materials)
- Ability to communicate complex information on sustainability and data to non-technical audiences
- Project management skills (Experience working with multiple stakeholders)
