**In order to support the leadership team, Airbus Aerostructure is looking for a**:
**Design Technical Authority Electrical Systems Installation (d/f/m)**:
You will be part of an engaged leadership team within Airbus Aerostructure Engineering, acting as Fuselage Design Technical Authority for Electrical Systems Installations for all Airbus Programs. In this role You will delegate the engineering staff for all commercial and military Airbus programs. Participating in technical reviews and audits, assessing the technical risk and ensuring the methodical conformity of the results will be part of Your job as well as the regular exchange within the Airbus network.

**Your location**:
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

**As part of this team You will**:
- Perform expertise support to the Airframe community for fuselage & empennage with a strong focus on Electrical Systems Integration.
- Contribute to Design Reviews.
- Manage certification related activities and deployment of the applicable technical documents methods & tools.
- Transfer of expertise between methods & tools teams and engineering development teams.
- Maintain a link between the design organization of Airbus and Airbus Aerostructure.
- Validate suppliers & follow-up the actions.
- Delegate technical authority internally and to suppliers.
- Validate justification and certification dossiers.
- Undertake technical development capability assessments (TDCA) at supplier level.
- Will provide design expertise to support technical reviews and design challenges.
**Required skills and qualifications**:
- A degree in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
- At least 5 years experience in a relevant field, bringing extensive knowledge of electrical systems installation design.
- Good communication skills to enable you to assess the capabilities of applicants or to present and negotiate important technical or procedural topics to Airbus staff or Authorities.
- You to enjoy both: Ability to work on your own and also in a team, when required.
- Ability to persevere where the airworthiness is affected but capability to develop solutions together with specific design teams.
- Negotiation in English and German.
- Occasionally traveling.
