With more than 36 million users per month, Kleinanzeigen has the widest reach of all online selling platforms in the country. Most of the items traded on Kleinanzeigen are second-hand. In this way, users make an active contribution to sustainability. The Kleinanzeigen market allows companies the opportunity to easily offer their services online. Kleinanzeigen was launched in September 2009 as eBay Kleinanzeigen. Since June 2021, the company has been part of Adevinta, a leading global provider of online classified ads. In May 2023, the name was changed to Kleinanzeigen.

About the Role:
Are you ready to shape the future of digital marketing at Kleinanzeigen? We're looking for a visionary leader to drive our digital strategy, spearhead innovation, and lead a high-performing team.
As our new Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our digital marketing efforts across diverse customer segments—consumers, business clients, and real estate professionals—across all digital platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Digital Strategy: Take full ownership of our digital marketing strategy, ensuring a seamless journey for both new and existing users.-
- Data-Driven Marketing: Utilize data to generate insights and craft personalized, user-centric marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.- Optimize for Efficiency: Continuously refine our marketing processes, leverage automation, and streamline workflows to maximize impact.- Inspire and Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of expert digital marketers, CRM professionals, and onsite marketers.- Champion Marketing Technology: Lead our MarTech advancements in close partnership with marketing analytics and cross-functional teams.- Foster Strong Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.- Manage a Double-Digit Budget: Effectively oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and high-impact results.
What You Bring:
- Extensive Digital Marketing Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in strategy development and execution.- Leadership Excellence: 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.- Deep Expertise in Digital Marketing: Advanced knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEM, SEO, programmatic advertising, social media marketing, and marketing technology (MarTech).- Agile Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in agile working environments that drive efficiency and innovation.- E-commerce and Marketplace Experience: Solid professional experience, preferably in e-commerce or online marketplaces, with a deep understanding of customer ecosystems and key value drivers.- Stakeholder Management and Decision-Making: Expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and making fast, data-driven decisions with excellent communication skills.- Strategic and Analytical Thinker: A quick learner with excellent logical, analytical, and strategic skills. You’re self-driven and excel at aligning teams with business objectives.- Results-Oriented and Pragmatic: You set clear goals, develop strategies, and lead teams to success with a hands-on, action-oriented approach. Your positive attitude and creativity help overcome challenges with ease.- Inspiring Leadership: You lead by example, inspiring your team with your expertise and passion for digital marketing. You’re always curious, seeking opportunities to learn and grow.- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both German and English.- Educational Background: A BA/BS degree is required (postgraduate or professional degrees are a plus).
