**Role: Real Estate Financial Controller**
**Location: Berlin, Germany**
**The Duties**:
- Provide day-to-day financial support/operations for the Asset Management Team
- Month-end and year-end closing process including preparation of partnership/investor distributions, financial statements, reconciliation, journal entries, management reports and cash flow analysis.
- Manage and process the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Ensure all tenant and property information is set up properly
- Property management fee calculation
- Oversee the annual budget process working with property management and providing accounting assistance to finalise the budgets to present to owners
- Manage and calculate CAM estimates and year-end reconciliations process
- Loan compliance reporting
- Reviewing Lease agreements
- Manage new acquisitions on-boarding including preparing opening entries
- Sales tax calculation
- Effectively manage outside service providers
**Your Qualifications**:
- Native German and Fluent English-speaking skills
- 5-10 years of property level accounting experience
- Knowledge in Asset Management operations
- Previous experience in the German Real Estate Market
- Professionally educated Accountant, CPA, ACCA
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Well organised and good communication skills
- Exercise a high degree of initiative, independent judgement, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
