**For our office in Wiesbaden we are looking for a**

**Event Management Team Lead (all genders)**

As part of the Customer Excellence department, Event Management Team Lead is responsible for all the key event organizations, including International and national congresses, support our new launches as well as virtual events.

**Primary goals of this role are**:

- Contributing to the digital transformation with robust process and building positive experience for our customers with the virtual events
- Supporting the company transformation and build robust guidelines and processes for event management
- Supervising the company needs and ensure agile organization and resource management while aligned with Procurement, compliance and Finance
- Driving innovation and lead strategic projects
- Leading the event team, as a strong partner to all our Business Units for customer focused events

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for the Event Team regarding all key external and internal events across the organization, including national congresses.
- Responsible for virtual events as well and ensure positive experience for our customers. Bring innovation and enable the event team to onboard on the digital transformation.
- Planning, Coordination and implementation of national and international events
- Leadership responsibility for the Event Management Team including outsourcing activities.
- Establish robust processes to manage Virtual and F2F events and establish strong guidelines with Purchasing for the Business Units.
- Responsible for all compliance and in-process controls
- Responsible for coordination of large-scale projects to support the company transformation.
- Strong customer focus to enable the BUs positive customer experience as well as efficient and cost-effective event organization.
- Leverage available systems functionality including Atrium
- Research, inquiries, negotiations as well as directing third-party service provider companies.
- Budget monitoring, including PO and invoices review for all events in Germany
- Tracking complaints management Tracking complaint management and subsequent implementation of optimization measures (lessons learned)
- Processing orders for third-party service providers as per in-house processes and guidelines
- Continuous review and optimization of the supplier network in agreement with Purchasing and negotiations with external service providers to ensure that economic corporate goals are achieved.
- Main responsibility for internal meeting guidelines: Creation, roll-out, monitoring and continuous optimization
- Ensuring training for and continuous transfer of knowledge to event employees regarding the relevant policies and procedures
- Build strong partnership with stakeholders such as Compliance, Finance, Communication, BTS
- BA or BS degree in relevant areas, in business economics or (polytechnic/Fach Hochschule, business economist/dipl. Bachelor)
- At least 5 years of experience, ideally with a focus on event management
- Successful record track of leading and managing complex, large scale meetings & event organizations
- Very good computer skills (MS Office) and digital affinity, open to new technology
- Strong Communication skills, teamwork and decision-making
- Strategic thinking, ability to build new processes, guidelines and project management.
- Ability to work independently and stress management.
- Flexibility and travel to support national and international congresses on site.
- Fluent in English
- Ability to interact with all levels of management globally across divisions and functions.
