To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

**Scientist (M/F/d) RNA Delivery & Formulation**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Planning and support of projects for the development of RNA delivery technology based on a target product profile (TPP)
- Development and characterization of novel lipid-based mRNA formulations
- Drafting of scientific issues and matters relating to patent law in preclinical, cellular and in-vivo experimental systems
- Reporting and presentation of results to corresponding target groups
- Support and guidance in daily business for junior scientists and technicians
- Transfer of knowledge to other departments within the organization and to external parties

**Your Qualifications**:

- Doctorate in natural sciences such as biochemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutics or equivalent
- Experience in nanoparticle characterization techniques (DLS, zeta potential, chromatography) and knowledge of structural biology and protein and nucleic acid characterization tools/techniques (gel electrophoresis, etc.) are mandatory
- Proven track record in analytical assays development, identification and evaluation
- Good understanding of lipid-based delivery systems
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Good team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English, German skills are a plus
