Your team

Join our team as a **Team Lead Messaging Team (M/F/d)**, where you can put your passion for hands-on work with technology to use while displaying your leadership abilities. As team lead you contribute significantly to the 1NCE success story as the SIM and Messaging is the core of our product. You are responsible for a team of Messaging, SIM and OTA engineers as well as integrators for Remote SIM provisioning platforms (RSP).

This hybrid role can be based in our office in Cologne, Germany or Riga, Latvia, and we look forward to meeting you in the office at least once a week/bi-weekly.

Your mission
- You ensure development and operations of all SIM, OTA, Messaging and RSP functionalities in 1NCE
- You act as the interface to our vendors and together with your team you create solutions which enables our customers to integrate the SIM / OTA / Messaging in their setups
- You are responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of the team including definition of roles, structures, and processes
- You manage a team of 5-8 engineers working remotely on different products and provides professional 3rd level support for all technical issues related to our product
- You coordinate with the Product team to ensure that roadmap deliveries are met
- You are responsible for the correct setup & performance of our SMSC according to defined product needs
- You work on new technologies to improve our services, such as introduction and operations of eUICC subscription management, Over-the-Air provisioning, and SIM applets
- You are responsible for market analysis and vendor screening
- You ensure communication and documentation regarding time, quality, and costs
- You maintain an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, set clear team goals, drive team and personal development and are responsible for resource management
- Together with the team you identify optimization potential for the day-by-day work and support the team in implementation

Your skills
- You have a technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or relatable education
- You have 2+ years leadership experience in global virtual teams
- You have a deep knowledge about mobile network architecture (2G/3G/4G/5G/NB-IoT and Cat-M, RAN) and a good understanding of 3GPP specifications
- You are familiar with eUICC and GSIM as well as OTA, RSP and SMSC
- You have worked in a cloud environment before
- You are a team player and customer focused
- You have a confident and competent appearance
- You are open-minded, willing to learn, pro-active, solution-oriented and have a hands-on-mentality,
- Your strong communication skills and intrinsic motivation to work with cutting edge technology will help the team and 1NCE to develop further
