Operational Technology Specialist

**Purpose of the position**:
Supporting the rollout of Project ONE with regards to the integration of palletizers, printers, weighing scales and other systems covered by the central Operational Technology department, such as MES & MessDas. Training of key users and support of businesses during and after implementation. The position is limited for two years.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Support Project ONE**: Play a key role in rolling out technology solutions across management units, integrating various systems like MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and MessDas.
- ** System Integration & Testing**: Support local teams with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- ** Onsite Go-Live Support**: Provide hands-on Go-Live support and hypercare post-implementation onsite.
- ** Training**: Train key users in plants on new process templates and systems.
- ** Maintain Test Environments**: Manage and maintain the central test environments for MES, ensuring operational continuity.

**Education**
- University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Business Administration - or similar experience.

**Experience**
- Min. 5 years’ work experience in FMCG (ideally food), IT or Consulting roles would be desirable.
- Hands-on experience with MES systems and programming.
- Knowledge of PLCs, OPC/Kepware, and project management (experience with MES implementations is a plus).
- Fluent in English; German or other Intersnack languages are beneficial.

**Skills**
- Strong communication and persuasion skills—able to influence without direct authority.
- Project management and business process documentation experience.
- ** Willingness to travel up to 80% across the EU and UK.**
