**Your Impact**

We are a dynamic and constantly growing company. As a result, we are looking in** Berlin** for a **highly motivated Head of Finance to build and lead the financial department** of our company. You will work closely with one of our founders and will have the chance to build a world-class finance department with lots of room to develop and drive your own ideas. Your responsibility includes a variety of work streams - including budgeting, financial reporting and controlling, preparing financial statements with an external accountant, investor reports and requests, revenue collection and cash flow optimization. The wide range of tasks and the mix of analytical responsibility and collaboration with different stakeholders offers a strong opportunity for personal growth. This is more than a typical Head of Finance position. **Your Mission**
- Build and enhance our financial model and budget. You will drive our financial forecasting and budget vs actual analysis
- You will be responsible for all investor reporting and requests, both on a regular basis as well as for possible future financing rounds
- Revenue collection and cash flow optimization through leasing, factoring and other financial instruments are a core part of our finance management. You will drive these initiatives and develop new solutions
- You will work with a variety of different stakeholders, including the leadership of other teams as well as external accountants to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of our financial statements and drive the reconciliation between financial and management reporting
- Direct access to management as you will report to one of our founders to build mission-critical financial structures and prepare the company for the next stages of growth

**Your Talent**
- At least 2 years of practical **experience in the field of finance or management consulting - ideally in a high-paced (startup) environment**:

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in **general accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, budget planning and budgetary control**:

- Passion for great **financial models** and excellent** Excel skills**:

- Strong curiosity to learn about new topics and manage them, e.g. leasing and factoring instruments
- Analytic, number-driven mindset, attention to detail and high sense of ownership
- Capacity to make decisions, set priorities and think out of the box
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills. Ability to communicate effectively and influence all types of people in all levels (investors, other team leaders, external suppliers, accountants, etc)
- ** Hands-on attitude.** You want to get stuff done and you’re happy to do the heavy lifting
- High level of ambition and want to grow by getting out of your comfort zone
- Proficiency in English. German is a plus - but not necessary
- Last but not least, you are an excellent team player and thrive when faced with challenges
