**Department Overview**: The International Strategy & Portfolio Management team is responsible for developing the strategy, building the tools and aligning resources to enable long-term success by driving growth across APAC, EMEA and LACR. The department is responsible for strategic planning & market research activities, business positioning, market share & competitive analysis. An internship in the Strategy department offers an excellent opportunity to understand how a large multinational operates and how strategies are developed and implemented.
**This role supports the creation and implementation of go-to-market strategies for software and mobile video in international markets outside North America - key areas of expansion for Motorola Solutions.

We would like you to support our team from September 2023 for at least 6 months - and preferably for 1 year - in a full-time capacity (40 hours / week).

Main tasks:

- Contribute to strategy projects through the analysis of markets, competitors, products and technologies
- Work with various information streams to collate, structure and maintain market data for use in forecasting, business case development and other strategic analysis
- Research new market spaces to support Motorola’s expansion into these areas with detailed knowledge
- Analyze market reports and other secondary sources to produce periodic updates on the company’s performance, its competitors, market trends and other relevant developments
- Contribute to the discussions and decisions within the Strategy department (gaining a good insight into the overall functioning of the unit and wider business)

**Basic Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, finance or engineering
- Registration with a university
- Enthusiasm for business management and strategy
- Analytical mindset and ability to frame complex problems
- Interest in performing business and market analysis
- Solid knowledge of data analysis using spreadsheets, preparing presentations and other reports; familiarity with Google Suite tools is advantageous
- Results-oriented, self-starter, able to work independently under remote supervision
- Very good spoken and written skills in English; a second language is a plus
