Internship Geopolitics

Berlin Global Advisors (BGA) is offering an internship to support its geopolitics / geoeconomics team start-ing September 2023. BGA is Germany's leading consulting firm for geopolitical advisory services and inter-national government affairs. In a global business environment where politics has become a critical factor, BGA advises companies and investors on business strategy as well as in crisis and special situations. BGA’s services include analyses, scenario exercises, strategy workshops, risk management and operatio-nal support for advocacy or negotiations with government agencies.

Aufgaben
- Assist in researching and analyzing open source information on geopolitical and geoeconomic de-velopmens with a relevance on European businesses and investors
- Provide support in developing views on how geopolitical trends impact sectors of the global econ-omy such as the energy sectors, financial markets and global supply chains
- Contribute to the production of concise and well-written analyses of (geo-)political, economic, se-curity issues
- Prepare presentations synthesizing complex geopolitical and geoeconomic issues for client engage-ment
- Help in preparation and proofreading of routine correspondence, memoranda and reports
- Support general administrative tasks

Qualifikation
- Background in International Economics, International Relations, Political Science or related fields
- Solid understanding of international economic and geopolitical issues, preferably based on first practical experiences in government, international organizations or consulting
- Ability to conduct research independently and draft concise analyses
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize workload: self-starter, hands-on mentality, stress-resistant
- Very good command of German and English
