With sales of well over 1 billion euro, the company specializes in the production of components and systems for the automotive, truck and construction machinery industries.
**Your responsibilities**:
- You are responsible for the global sustainability management and the sustainability strategy of thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies in coordination with the management and the specialist departments.
- You will continuously identify and analyse the sustainability requirements we face (customers, legal requirements, group requirements, etc.) and derive suitable measures to meet these requirements.
- You are responsible for internal and external communication on sustainability issues and answer/coordinate enquiries from customers or the Group.
- In close cooperation with the operating units and the specialised departments of the business unit, you will develop concrete action plans for the implementation of the sustainability strategy.
- You will establish a cross-site and cross-functional monitoring and reporting system for sustainability roadmaps and initiatives.
- You coordinate the collection and reporting of relevant data and key figures to meet requirements (customers, laws, Group) and international standards (e.g. SBTi) as well as to support decision-making and the implementation of sustainability programmes.
- You establish a network of sustainability experts and promote the exchange on sustainability activities within Forged Technologies and the thyssenkrupp Group as well as with external parties.
**Your profile**:
- You have a university degree in engineering, economics or comparable fields, ideally with a focus on sustainability.
- You have professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally several years in the automotive industry and in the management of projects.
- You have relevant experience in the field of sustainability and comprehensive knowledge of relevant requirements (laws, authorities, customers) as well as relevant standards and frameworks such as SBTi and CSRD, GRI, LkSG/SCA, ISO 14001.
- In addition to very good analytical and conceptual skills, you have a high level of assertiveness and implementation skills.
- You convince your environment with very good communication skills as well as a confident appearance and enjoy working closely in a team and in an international working environment.
- You are business fluent in spoken and written German and English.
