**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**
You will be responsible for creating key customer facing messaging and copy for CRM campaigns and teasers. You will be required to stay up to date with the latest in culture, fashion and lifestyle. You will need to understand the needs of Zalando and its customers and partners and bring these together to create outstanding copy for teasers and campaigns in alignment with teams of stakeholders.

**WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**
- Write copy for inspirational, retail and brand CRM campaigns
- Create persuasive and compelling copy that entertains, inspires and engages
- Align and collaborate with other writers across our partner business and editorial teams to help assure we’re all writing in the same voice and working towards a common goal
- Write clear, concise and exciting messaging in English that reflects the personality and Tone of Voice of Zalando and showcases our exciting offering
- Collaborate with language services team colleagues to bring storytelling to the next level
- Consider that your copy will have to be translated into a number of European languages
- Ability to unpack strategies & translate them into creative proposals
- Proven ability to come up with a strong messaging concepts and execute on them
- Proofread and provide feedback and copy support for colleagues
- Track and monitor the CRM KPIs to see how the copies are performing and if the customer is finding the copies engaging

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**
- Writing is your superpower. Maybe you have a degree in Advertising, Journalism, Fashion or similar but we value experience just as much. Ideally you have 5-7 years of experience in an agency, fashion magazine or relevant creative field
- Exceptional portfolio of copywriting work and editorial experience a major plus
- Strong interest in fashion, communication, design, tech and contemporary culture. You bring a good overview and a solid international outlook
- Nose for a good story
- An affinity for culture, fashion and lifestyle
- Keen to bring your knowledge of culture, publishing and social media to the team
- A natural doer Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, managing your workload to tight deadlines and with flexible planning in a calm way
- Enjoy working in a fast-changing, international environment. You are a dedicated team player, open, positive, flexible and professional
- Talent for writing exciting and engaging copy in English, including punchy headlines and CTAs
- A desire to mentor and upskill fellow colleagues and support the lead copywriter
- You are skilled at stakeholder management
- Have strong presentation skills and ability to sell ideas (verbal)
- Comfortable jumping between multiple creative projects at the same time
- Up to speed on trends in fashion, marketing, culture
- A good understanding of the editorial publishing landscape, tone of voice and house style
