The Digital Applications Team

The Digital Applications Team is responsible for the CRM and E-Commerce Platform. We are taking care of the release processes, the technical conception as well as the quality assurance. In addition to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud and the Service Cloud, we also use the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and have a deep integration with our SAP ERP system.

Tasks

**YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW**:
As a direct-to-consumer e-commerce company, the e-commerce platform is a critical factor for the digital transmission of our brand experience to our customers. As our SENIOR TECHNICAL ARCHITECT SALESFORCE COMMERCE CLOUD (M/F/D), you will be an important factor in our success and growth. You will focus on designing the best-in-class solutions and be a key interface between the business and the development team. We value active participation in the design and optimization of existing processes in order to not only constantly improve ourselves as a team, but most importantly our solutions.

**Your tasks and responsibilities in detail**:

- Continuously carry out the analysis of our business requirements and are responsible for translating them into intelligent, stable, and scalable technical solutions
- Break down the user stories and use cases into technical concepts and implementation tasks
- Create the technical design concepts and documents (data model, system integration concept, data migration planning, etc.)
- Effectively implement prototypes
- Prepare make or buy decisions for new features
- Ensure the quality of the services provided by the development team in technical and architectural terms are according to Canyon’s guidelines and best practices
- Optimize architecture guidelines, development processes, and tools
- Oversee and be responsible for the technical management of the dev team

**Requirements**:

- Degree in (technical) computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or in a comparable course
- 10+ years of professional experience as a technical architect / consultant in (B2C) eCommerce
- Proven track record (5+ years) in developing Salesforce B2C eCommerce solutions
- Very Extensive technical knowledge, especially in eCommerce, Salesforce, integration, DevOps, and agile methodology
- Ideally, you have a Salesforce certification
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and interact with various stakeholders
- With your hands-on mentality and a result-oriented way of working, you can successfully complete your daily tasks and achieve your goals
- Very good English skills, spoken and written. German minimum A2/B1 level.
