**Aufgaben**:
In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (R&D), we design the automotive generations of the future. We design innovative products with highest quality in efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will ensure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz Group in the future.

The MBUX Infotainment unit within the Directorate MB.OS Base Layer & MBUX develops and integrates innovative functions and services for car and smartphone apps that aim to make us the market leader. Our department is responsible for the development of digital services and on-demand functions for our customers.
- For the "Online Entertainment" team we search for a Domain Architect for exciting and future oriented tasks in various customer functions. _Our team drives innovations for the digital services in the Cluster Entertainment with the areas of audio, video, music & gaming, and has the responsibility for all development stages till series production release and beyond.

**These challenges await you as a Domain Architect:
- Architectural responsibility of the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and/or Continuous Deployment) components in the DevOps (Development Operations) Enabling Platform, consisting of modular components and the integration of the components and other systems
- Technical design for development and testing in cloud development arears
- Consulting regarding Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment and the related processes and tools
- Coordination of the architecture with committees
- Accompaniment of the implementation from the idea to the go-live and operation in the team

**Other tasks:
**- Driving further development of the CI/CD pipeline and its functional extensions according to our customer requirements, processes and products, tools & implementation and strategic direction of Mercedes-Benz - the goals here are:

- Build, evolve and operate a service-oriented DevOps enabling platform for DevOps teams
- Supporting the agilization of backend development
- Enablement of CI/CD for teams in backend development

Leading the definition of sub-system boundaries and contained components. Leading the documentation of sub-system architecture and maintaining it with a high level of quality that provides relevant up-to-date information supporting the teams in the development of features. This work includes foreseeing evolving needs of refinements in available documentation and ensuring that the needs identified are addressed in a timely manner.**Qualifikationen**:
**What you bring to the table:
- Ability to produce architecture documentation artifacts, including high-level overviews, schematics and call sequences
- Intuition for Software best practices in Kubernetes, Azure Devops, Docker, and pulumi or terraform
- Ability to handle the challenges of large-scale embedded Software Systems & Infrastructure as code systems
- Proficiency in English, proficiency in German is a plus

**- Excellent ability to analyze and break down complex requirements and technical problems and communicate about them in a clear, structured manner
- Ability to see the bigger Picture yet have a Passion for Details where it matters
- Effective communication skills, both: verbal and written

**Additional information**:
