Adas/ad Hil Validation Lead

**Responsibilities**
- Analyse the ADAS/AD system architecture and define the requirements to set up the Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) infrastructure based on the function performance requirements.
- Define the right data format, data processing toolchain and simulation tools to perform HIL simulation.
- Build the necessary environment to collect data and set up the necessary simulation infrastructure (open loop and close loop HIL) in co-operation with the HIL system suppliers.
- Build the KPI reports for each of the ADAS/AD functions and identify gaps or weaknesses of the system using issue reporting tool.
- Ensure the defect traceability communication to function owner and prepare validation reports.
- Report project validation status and escalate blocking point to line manager and project manager.
- Regular co-ordination with cross function teams to continuously improve and extend the scope of simulation and bench validation.
- Collaborate with the other AD/ADAS simulation teams of Geely group (VOLVO, LOTUS China Headquarter, CEVT) to identify regional specific/complementary simulation methods to guarantee compliance to the local regulations and NCAP.
- Active participation as LOTUS TECH representative on international AD/ADAS alliances and communities, seminars, forums to be aligned on latest technologies and trends on simulation, toolchain, and different validation strategies.
- Ensure a frequent benchmark of our direct competitors to be informed of interesting new direction trends.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in electronics, mechatronics, computer science or comparable field of study.
- At least 8 years of working experience in ADAS/AD simulation. Ideally experience on L3/L4 simulation methods.
- Strong knowledge on vehicle electronic architectures and complex E/E functions especially ADAS/AD (Camera, Radar, Lidar, Ultrasound).
- Strong knowledge on vehicle network and communication buses like CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet.
- Proven experience in commissioning and operating dSPACE HIL toolchain like SCALEXIO, ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, RTMaps, MATLAB/Simulink. Knowledge of dSPACE ASM, VEOS, etc. is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the various data toolchains and pre-processing (anonymization, cleaning, labeling)
- Extensive experience in defining and execution of manual and automated testcases for validation of ADAS/AD functions, especially on dSPACE HIL.
- Experience setting up CI/CV pipeline and infrastructure for HILs is a plus.
- Experience with co-relating and debugging system behavior on simulation and vehicle is plus.
- Ideally knowledge of automotive safety standards like ISO26262, ASPICE, SOTIF, etc.
- Experience in global team execution and enthusiasm to work with diverse culture.
- High level of engagement to solve complex issues and structured approach to drive issue resolution.
- Excellent communicator with an open and structured mindset. Fluent in English.
- Flexible regarding travels to UK Innovation Centre, Sweden, China and other countries if needed.
