**Duties**:
- Review and report all derogatory information involving SCI indoctrinated personnel.
- Serve as the official channel for passing collateral clearances and SCI access certifications
- Maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to adequately discharge SSO duties and responsibilities.

- Perform initial investigations of all SCI security violations within 21 TSC and its subordinate units.
- Coordinate routine disclosure actions for the disclosure of Classified Military Information (CMI) to foreign government representatives in support of approved U.S. Army international programs.
- Facilitate the administrative processes for all requests for information related to Foreign National visits, and release and disclosure of information.
- Responsible for development, implementation, and overall management of all Sensitive Compartmented Information programs and multiple Sensitive Compartmented Information facilities.

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) based on a Tier 5 investigation/single-scope background investigation (SSBI).
- May require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of time.
- Periodically, especially during periods of crisis, will be required to work overtime/irregular shifts.
- This position has been identified for the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification Program. This is the Department of Defense (DoD) Security Certification Program directed by DoD Instruction 3305.13.

- This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment and the Physical Security Certification (PSC) within the next year.

- Prior Federal Service Employee- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GG/GS-11) grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in (1) managing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security management functions (2) managing security actions and procedures for sensitive compartmented facilities (SCIF), (3) and ensuring proper disclosure of classified information.
- Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
