**What is the VIE program?**:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

**Our Mission**:
The Industrial Service Center 3D Printing is part of the empowered additive manufacturing team. Our mission is to get this growing 3D technology sustainable in Airbus Helicopters DNA. We operate within AH/AHD and in close collaboration with AiC/ADS to industrialize new 3D metallic and organic parts. One additional key aspect is an integrated team of engineering and production colleagues.

**Your location**:
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Analysis of customer requirements and elaboration of additive manufacturing solutions
- Examination of customer specifications for technical feasibility
- Implementation of realizable customer requirements in material and geometry
- Carrying out individual, technological customer consultations for service requests for 3D printed parts production (in person, by telephone or digitally)
- Creation of service offers including the associated administration and offer tracking of relevant offers depending on the offer volume
- Data preparation, planning and execution of print jobs for customer parts on our additive manufacturing systems
- Coordinate and plan post-processing of additive manufacturing parts
- Production of 3D-printed components in cooperation with the necessary specialist departments (production, order processing,...) in compliance with customer specifications
- Evaluation and introduction of new manufacturing technologies and production systems in additive manufacturing
- Cooperation with internal and external departments, customers, institutes and machine manufacturers

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- You have a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field of study
- You have sound experience in engineering and project management
- You have initial experience in finance and quality management
- You have knowledge of CATIA V5, 3DX, MS Office, Google Suite and SAP
- You are characterized by your independent and reliable way of working
- Fluent German and English round off your profile
